Kaden Prather

​College Graduate  (UMD '25)

Pro Wide Receiver (NFL/UFL)

 

A four-star recruit out of Northwest High School (MD), Prather competed at the highest levels of college football at West Virginia and Maryland, finishing his collegiate career with 162 receptions, 1,900+ receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns.

 

His college career honors include selection to the Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List, 2024 Phil Steele Preseason Second-Team All-Big Ten, 2024 Athlon Sports Preseason Third-Team All-Big Ten, and participation in the 2024 Shrine Bowl.

 

Prather’s production and consistency led to his selection by the Buffalo Bills in the 7th round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he is currently active at the professional level with the Louisville Kings.

Aaron Turner 

Rice University 

 

Aaron Turner is a versatile offensive playmaker with proven production across multiple programs. He began his collegiate career at UConn (2021–2022), appearing in 25 games and totaling 90 receptions for 759 yards and 3 touchdowns, while adding 75 rushing yards. In 2022, he led the Huskies in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns for the second straight season, finishing with 57 catches for 527 yards and 3 scores.

​

In 2023 at Cincinnati, Turner played in all 12 games, contributing as a receiver, designed runner, and special teams contributor. He recorded 11 receptions for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns, added 97 rushing yards, and made six special teams tackles, showcasing his versatility.

 

Turner capped his college career with a standout season at Rice, leading the team with a career-high 63 receptions and tying for the team lead with 7 total touchdowns. He added 259 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns, finished second on the team with 736 all-purpose yards, and set a program bowl record with 10 catches in the Armed Forces Bowl, with his reception total ranking ninth in program history.

Kam Miller 

Archbishop Spaulding HS (c/o '28) 

 

​Kam is an elite wide receiver who has been training with WRU DMV since 2020 and is a prime example of development translating to game-day production. A two-time MIAA Champion and multi-year starter since his freshman season, Kam recorded 34 receptions for 484 yards and 7 total touchdowns as a freshman, followed by 55 catches for 753 yards and 12 total touchdowns as a sophomore. Before high school, he earned national recognition through honors and invitations including FBU Top Gun, UA All-American, and the Freshman All-American Game. He currently holds 10+ Division I offers, including Maryland, Florida State, Pitt, and USF.

Isiah 'Smiley' Williams

College Graduate (CCSU '24)

 

Isiah Smiley Williams was a productive collegiate wide receiver with proven production at multiple levels of college football. He attended Northwest High School (Germantown, MD), where he was a three-year varsity starter and earned both the Jag Award and Rosette Award during his senior season.

 

Williams began his collegiate career at Central Connecticut State (2021–2023), appearing in 31 games and totaling 82 receptions for 942 yards and 6 touchdowns over three seasons, showing steady year-over-year growth and reliability as a target.

 

In 2024 at Howard University, Williams delivered a breakout season, earning Phil Steele FCS All-Conference Second Team honors after finishing among the conference leaders in receptions (8th) and receiving yards (10th). He appeared in 11 games, recording 42 catches for 493 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Ryan Beach

Shepherd University *Retired

 

Ryan Beach is a former collegiate wide receiver whose impact extended well beyond the field. A 2020 graduate of Northwest High School (MD), He broke the school record in the 4x100 relay at the Regional Championship as a junior and earned First Team All-County and Team Offensive Player of the Year honors. His high school career also included Honorable Mention All-Met, Second Team All-State recognition, and 942 receiving yards with 15 touchdowns during his senior season.

​

Beach continued his career at Shepherd University,  In 2021, he appeared in 15 games with eight starts, leading the Rams with 98 receptions for 1,199 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning PSAC East Rookie of the Year, First Team All-PSAC East, and D2CCA All-Super Region One Second Team honors. In 2022, he appeared in 11 games with six starts, recording 51 receptions for 411 yards and five touchdowns, and once again earned First Team All-PSAC East recognition.

​

Following his playing career, Beach transitioned from football to service, joining the United States Marine Corps, where he has served as an infantry Marine (0331) for the past three years. The relationship built through football continues beyond the game — proof that what we build at WRU is bigger than football.

Cameron Dorner 

Shepherd University / North Texas 

 

Cameron Dorner played HS football at Oakdale High School in New Market, Maryland, where he established himself as one of the program’s most productive receivers. A First Team All-County selection as a senior, he led the team in receptions, yardage, and touchdowns, finished ranked among the school’s top performers across multiple statistical categories, and was part of Oakdale’s 2018 state championship team. He also lettered in basketball and track.

Dorner continued his development at Shepherd University, spending three seasons at the Division II level. He appeared in 33 games with 17 starts, recording 1,467 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns over his career. His junior season earned him All-PSAC East Second Team honors after posting 52 catches for 702 yards and five scores.

He concluded his college career at the University of North Texas, where he emerged as a key contributor in 2025. Dorner earned Third Team All-American Conference recognition by PFSN after finishing with 56 receptions, 911 yards, and eight touchdowns, averaging over 16 yards per catch. He is now training and preparing for the next level.
